For the past 9 years Arno has at APM Terminals, where he held senior executive positions within Operations and HSSE in both Rotterdam and Bahrain. Arno’s most recent position was at APM Terminals Rotterdam, as Chief Operating Officer. Before joining APM Terminals, Arno spent 17 years with the Royal Netherlands Army and completed several missions up to the rank of Major.
Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals is Europe’s largest hub for short sea shipping. At the heart of Rotterdam’s port they process containers efficiently, making sure cargo reaches destination as quickly as possible. Thanks to an excellent geographical location and a wide variety of shipping destinations. RST is considered an important hub for Western and Southern Europe, North Africa and Scandinavia.
