Bol.com, founded in 1999, is an internet platform that started as an online bookstore. In 2022, it has grown into a platform with 13 million active Dutch and Belgian customers, an assortment of 41 million articles and 49,000 Dutch and Belgian sales partners selling their articles here.

After his studies in physics, David Williams started as a software developer. David has worked in startups but also in large companies. At Trade Me, he made the step into leadership roles. At XERO (SaaS Accountancy and Small Business) , David managed a major organisational change. He came to the Netherlands in 2019 and worked for DAZN and at Recharge.com
